1934 Fordson N Water Washer
Just arrived from a private collection is this stunning Fordson
I sold the tractor several years ago, it had been dormant in a barn for decades, I fitted a reconditioned magneto, NOS plugs, leads and went through the tractor
Since then it has done the odd working day but generally just been admired in a private collection
Offered for sale again, the tractor started life in Lincolnshire, it was painted green in the war and has been untouched since
The tractor starts exceptionally well and runs superbly on petrol and better on TVO
There are no knocks or bangs and it still has the original low compression engine with no frost damage
The clutch is excellent with no grinding of gears and the brake works very well, the tractor is high top so sits at about 10mph
There is a bit of play in the front axle to be expected, the back end does whine, a little more than most Fordson's but it is old, it also has a very old repair on the casing underneath the gearbox
The tinwork is lovely, the tractor has the original fuel tank etc etc, it is absolutely oozing patina all over and I do not think it wants touching
The only fault I can find is one rear half shaft bearing squeaks, I have pumped this full of grease and it is getting better the more it is driven, being honest it wants using and enjoying at working weekends
I have no paperwork for the tractor but am lead to believe that Lincolnshire have the record cards so you may be able to obtain the registration back
