1939 Farmall F20
Just arrived from a private collection is this Farmall F20
The tractor is a genuine TVO one and a late variant of this model
It starts up on the handle well and runs well on both fuels
The tractor has a good turn of speed on the road and sits at about 10mph
The tractor clutch, brakes and a steering are all good with a nice set of tyres all the way round
The manifold is good apart from a hole in the exhaust side underneath the size of a 5p pence. This doesn't effect the running at all.
The tractor is full of coolant with fluids in the right places, this was a regular attender to the Goodwood events pulling the trailers with visitors round, it has been parked up in the dry for the past few years
The serial plate is missing however the serial number is stamped on the chassis rail on these, this reads to making it late 1939
A nice unusual tractor, this tractor is wide but does just fit on an ifor williams trailer
