1941 International W4

This lovely little lend lease tractor came over in 1941 and is a very early model, the 875th one built

Sold new in 1941 to John Henson of Lincoln, the tractor is showing 5 keepers on the buff logbook, there is the modern V5 here in my name

I planned on keeping this tractor but other commitments and a wedding make this sadly not possible.

The tractor starts 2 clicks on the handle and runs beautifully on petrol and TVO with excellent oil pressure

There is no frost damage and all fluids are where they should be

The tractor selects all gears well, the clutch is smooth and the brakes are very effective, this has a decent road speed of 10 to 12mph, there is a little play in the steering box but nothing worth addressing

The tyres are all lovely, the tractor was spray painted several years ago to an excellent standard and has now mellowed in beautifully

The rear wheels and half shafts have no wear either ( a common problem )

A genuinely beautiful little tractor wanting for nothing and ready to go
