1942 Oliver 80

This little 80 is a genuine TVO model denoted by the KD on the serial plate

This would be a lend lease machine, come over to help with the war effort

It has a lovely set of Dunlop cast wheels all round, with an excellent set of rears and a good pair of front tyres

The tractor itself starts up within 3 pulls of the handle and runs well with that distinct Oliver bark

The governor is responsive and has been set up well, the brake is OK, the steering is good and the tractor drives well

The engine sits at 20psi of oil pressure which is about normal for an Oliver

The engine is frost damage free and has no mixing of fluids.

The manifold has had a little repair in the bottom corner, this has been done very well and the rest of the manifold is sound

The tinwork is an early restoration and has mellowed in nicely

I have no paperwork for the tractor sadly

The only fault I can pick is the water pump drips when not running, this will more than likely swell up with some use and is adjustable

This has the normal top gear of about 6mph on the road

A nice tractor ready to be enjoyed for the rally season
