1944 Fordson Standard N - High Top
This tractor has been with the previous custodian for several years, when he purchased it from me I fitted a reconditioned magneto and several other bits and pieces
Since then the tractor has been used for light field work and has been parked up for the past couple of years in a barn
The tractor starts well and runs OK, it is a little fluffy so wants a bit of hard work or a valve de coke and grind
The tractor is fitted with the desirable 2275 transmission, high top, the clutch is pretty good on it
The tractor originally came from Sussex and was found in a barn under a tarpaulin where it had been for many decades, the original registration can just be seen but there is no paperwork
The tractor is fitted with the original frost damage free engine
The tinwork has had a very very early repaint and would almost pass as original
Tyres are lovely all the way round and really set it off
The steering has some play as to be expected
