1948 Case LA

1948 Case LA Tractor
 
This tractor was purchased new by A Marshall of Kings Acre Farm Winterbourne Newbury, I purchased the tractor from his son from that very farm
 
The tractor had been parked up some 50 years ago, 10 years ago the tractor was moved to another barn, at this time it had a full set of new tyres and tubes fitted and left on blocks until I found it
 
The tractor has just had a reconditioned magneto and starts within a few clicks of the handle and runs well, the manifold is very very good and the oil pressure sits between 25 and 30psi
 
The tractor has no frost damage or mixing of fluids
 
The tractor has a nice bark to the exhaust and is a genuine UK Lend Lease tractor
 
I have the original owners manual and a digital copy of Mr Marshall driving the tractor when he was a lad in the 1960s
 
The original registration is EMO 985 however I believe this will need some luck to re-obtain as Berkshire records do not exist anymore sadly and I have no paperwork for the tractor

The tractor does drive well in all gears, the brake works as well

I have no paperwork for the tractor, it would require an age related registration 
 
The water pump does drip sometimes as do most Case LAs
