1948 Fordson E27N

Just arrived from the Northampton is this charming E27N

This has been on a small holding and used for rolling and chain harrowing

The tractor features 3 point linkage, rear PTO, lighting kit, electric start and the low top gear

The engine is frost damage free and runs well, I have just fitted a reconditioned Lucas SR4 Magneto and a new set of Autolite plugs

The clutch and brakes all work as they should

The tyres are very good all round with some minor age related cracking but not worth addressing

The tractor still retains its original engine with no knocks or bangs, the radiator is full of coolant

The tractor being a low top was never registered so there is no paperwork

The 3 point linkage works as it should

A nice tractor ready to be enjoyed in the upcoming rally season
