1952 Nuffield DM4 - Perkins P4
This stunningly original Nuffield DM4 has just finished being rebuilt, the list of what's done goes beyond the watchword
The tractor has had a new clutch, complete engine rebuild including pump, injectors, crank, little ends, NOS pistons, new tyres and tubes all round, new gauges etc
The result is a tractor that starts up with no heat or excess fuel within a few turns and runs like a Swiss Watch
The oil pressure as you would expect sits between 50 and 60lb, the engine is frost damage free with no mixing of fluids, the engine oil is golden
The tractor charges the battery as it should as the dynamo and starts have been reconditioned
The linkage and PTO all work correctly as they should
This is a factory built Perkins tractor not a later conversion
The clutch is good, brakes are a little sharp and steering is fairly good for a Nuffield
The tinwork is lovely with a nice aged patina
I have the buff logbook here but no current v5, showing a Gloucestershire number and first owner
A stunning tractor that has had many thousands of hours and pounds spent on it, go find another as good?
The only fault I can find is the lights are not wired up
