1952 Nuffield DM4

1952 Nuffield DM4 - Perkins P4
This Nuffield has been stored in a private collection for quite some time after being used for shows etc
The tractor is a factory DM4, fitted from new with a Perkins P4 and still retaining the original engine with the brass screw in core plugs
The engine is frost damage free and there is no mixing of oil and water
The engine starts up with a little heat and sounds well, I have taken it for a drive around the lanes and it pulls well and drives well on the road with very minimal play in the steering
The tyres are old with low tread but absolutely fine, I think the rears would be the original as they are Good Year Diamonds Made in England
The tinwork is an older restoration and has mellowed in nicely
The PTO and hydraulics work and go up and down
There is an old registration on the back but sadly I have no paperwork so this would need applying for through the appropriate channels
A nice tractor that has mellowed in well and ready to be enjoyed
The headlight is not wired in but is the original Butler unit
I would recommend the tractor has a days work and a service as it has been sat for a few years
