The Case 500 is a big powerful 6 cylinder diesel American tractor, not sold new in the UK and imported later on, these are a very impressive powerful machine
This particular example starts up instantly hot or cold with its new twin batteries, it is full of antifreeze with no frost damage or mixing of fluids
This model has power steering which is fully working
The oil pressure sits at 35-40psi, it runs exceptionally well with that lovely 6 cylinder noise
The clutch and brakes are all good, it drives nicely on the road with v5 in hand ready to go
It is a very very early restoration which has mellowed in nicely
I have just fitted a new old stock set of Petlas rear tyres and tubes to the tractor, the fronts are a little aged but do not warrant
changing
The only two faults I can find are the headlights are not wired in and one front wheel has a slight bend, only evident on the road, it does not cause steering wobble etc you can just see it
A really nice big prarie tractor ready to be enjoyed
