1955 David Brown 30c
This lovely David Brown has just arrived from a private collection, the tractor was supplied by Reed & Sons of Shiremoor and still retains its original registration
The tractor starts up well and runs well on both fuels, the tractor has no mixing of fluids and there is no frost damage
The tractor has just been fitted with a full set of brand new BKT tyres and tubes all round
The engine sounds very healthy and returns 40lb of oil pressure
The steering is tight and it doesn't wonder on the road, the clutch is good and the brakes pull up very nicely making this a pleasure to drive
The hydraulics and pulley all work as they should
The tractor even has some original tax discs in the holder
The tractor I think is original but i am not 100% sure, it may have had a coat of paint very very early on it's life but you can decide for yourself
The previous custodian has sadly misplaced the v5 so this will need applying for ( a simple V62 as this is on the DVLA system ).
The only fault I can find are the dynamo and lights are not connected and the fuel tap drips sometimes
