1958 Fordson Power Major

Take in p/x, this major has been with the previous custodian for some 13 years on light duties

The tractor starts up on the lever, it is a live drive with a new Sparex clutch unit being fitted a few years ago

The tinwork is an earlier restoration, the tyres are a bit old and perished but up and do the job

The engine is frost damage free with no mixing of oil and water but it breathes and smokes when first started and cold, it clears when warm, I think it wants de glazing and a set of rings

The clutch and brakes all work as they should, the handbrake isn't the best, the linkage goes up and down

The tachometer works as it should and the battery charges

I have the v5 for the tractor here
