This Moggy has been with the previous custodian for 8 years and was being used as the daily driver until 18 months ago
 
It was then parked in a garage and run occasionally
 
The car had a light restoration shown in the huge history file starting in 2003 where lots of metalwork was carried out repairing the doors, wings bulkhead etc, there is also loads of previous MOTs.
 
The engine starts and sounds healthy with its SU carburettor, the oil and water are in the correct places with no mixing
 
The car now sits as an older restoration, it starts and runs exceptionally well, the clutch, gears and steering all seem good and it drives well down the road, the brakes are a little sticky but are getting better the more they are used, there is a slight knock on the nsf I have noticed over a big bump, possibly shock bush.
 
Being Tax and MOT exempt is a big bonus
 
The tyres all look reasonable
 
The interior seats have been changed for Mini ones, the originals are here but with some aged patina so I would recommend a recover if you wanted to go back that way
 
As with all British cars there is some rust poking through here and there so I would expect you will need a little welding here and there, the floors look good and the sills look ok.
 
There is the odd blister coming through on the wings and bottom of the doors as to be expected, this would be easily sorted should you so wish
 
There are quite some spares with the Moggy, a head gasket kit, spare lights, a stainless exhaust system etc
