1961 Fordson Super Major

Having spent it's entire life in the Midlands, this Major is now looking for a new custodian

The tractor still retains it's WD original registration complete with current v5 showing just 4 owners from new

The tractor starts up well and sounds healthy, there is no frost damage or mixing of fluids

The tractor has been converted to an alternator for reliable charging

The rear tyres are the original Good Year diamonds, although showing some cracking they should be fine for some time, the fronts are also older but again, all readily available

The tinwork is an older home restoration painted some years ago

The PTO and hydraulics work as they should, the clutch and brakes feel fine, there is very minimal play in the steering and it drives nicely in all gears down the road

The headlights are currently not working although the dash lights do work

This is a Dead Drive model with a single clutch, not a Live Drive tractor

Sadly the tachometer is not working
